Details

A beautiful late 1930s silk-satin gown in a soft peach shade, featuring a graceful bias-cut silhouette, delicate ivory lace trim, and romantic lace cap sleeves. The softly gathered bodice is framed by a wide scalloped neckline, while curved seaming and a pointed fitted waist panel create an especially flattering period shape.

The gown falls into a long, fluid skirt with beautiful movement and includes an attached tie at the back waist, allowing the fit to be adjusted and cinched more closely. Its luminous satin, feminine lace details, and elegant construction make this a lovely example of late 1930s lingerie design.

Originally created as a nightgown, this piece can be styled today as a romantic evening dress, bridal look, special-occasion gown, or collectible vintage garment.

Condition
Very Good vintage condition, approaching Excellent. This piece shows only light signs of age, including one small pinhole and a loose thread along the lace trim.
